With LifeName, you purchase an email address where people can reach you for as long as you maintain your subscription. Any email sent to your LifeName address is forwarded directly to your current functional email account, wherever in the world it may be, however often it may change. Switch your email provider and it's merely a matter of updating your LifeName account so that we know where to forward your email to. Although your LifeName address and account will remain active throughout the course of your paid subscription, in order to receive the mail sent to your LifeName address you must 1) have a functional email account at which to receive mail, and 2) have your LifeName account configured so that we know where to send your mail. Configuring your LifeName account is a snap -- by the time you're finished with our 2-minute subscription registration process, you're set-up and ready to pass your new LifeName out to all your correspondents. And after you complete the subscription process, you can come back to change your email forwarding options as often, and as many times as is necessary...with no extra charge! Speaking of subscribing, the price for your LifeName subscription is so low, you can't afford not to have your own LifeName address. The current price for the LifeName service is only $5.00 per year per email address -- and that's our highest-priced plan. Subscribe for one of our multiple-year plans and save even more: LifeName places no restrictions on the bandwidth you use. Receive as many email messages as you are accustomed to, receive as many attachments of any size -- we won't restrict you. And LifeName promises to never make our list of subscribers available to any third party for the purpose of sending unsolicited email. LifeName itself will not be doing bulk mailing either, except to remind users to renew their accounts. Not ever. There will be no screening of incoming emails to LifeName, therefore there can be no blocking of "spam", profanity, sexually explicit, etc. This blocking is left to the user’s individual email provider. There is no service for sending email within LifeName. However the system has help for how the user can set up their return address on the most popular email packages, so that emails that the user sends can have the return address be their LifeName address.
