does it do?
 |
|

|
What does LifeName
offer?
LifeName is an email forwarding system that takes all messages
for a given "LifeName" mailbox and consistently and quickly forwards
them to the user's personal (non-LifeName) email account. |
|

|
How do I get my email off of LifeName?
LifeName does not store your emails, so you will not be getting your
messages directly off of the LifeName Servers. Instead, the email is
forwarded to your own (non-LifeName) mailbox(es). |
|

|
How many email accounts can I forward to from LifeName?
You can forward all messages sent to your email account to one or
two different email accounts. |
|

|
Why doesn't LifeName use a number or some random set of letters
as an email address? Why does LifeName offer multiple URL's (e.g.
lifename.com, lifename.net, endlessemail.com, endlessemail.net…)?
Life is complicated enough without having difficult to remember or
difficult to type email addresses. We at LifeName have tried to make
it as easy as possible to remember something as important as your
lifetime email address. |

Will LifeName limit the
amount of Spam (Spam is the sending of unsolicited commercial email
while incorporating means of hiding your identity which is illegal.)
 |
|

|
Will LifeName filter Spam?
No, LifeName will not filter anything out of your email. First of
all, we feel it is not up to us to determine which emails you would
receive are Spam, and which are solicited. Secondly, this type of
filtering would be very expensive for LifeName, costly in
systems and processing overhead. Thirdly, just as we do not expect
the postal service's mail sorters to decide what mail we receive,
and cannot expect an email forwarding product like LifeName to be
responsible for choosing what you receive. |
|

|
Then does LifeName do anything to limit my Spam?
Actually yes. By federal law ( s.1618 ) those sending Spam are
required to use a valid return email address, offer a valid means of
removal from their mailing lists and fulfill those remove requests
within 5 days of the request. Previous to LifeName, when folks were
changing their email address from time to time, they lost their
removal. Now that one has the same email address for life, thanks to
LifeName, one removal is all it will take for your entire life. |

Why is LifeName so
inexpensive?
 |
|

|
Will LifeName be filled with advertisements, will ads be appended
to my emails?
Absolutely not, guaranteed. Despite the low cost LifeName will never
have advertisements nor include ads in your emails. That is why you
pay for the LifeName service. The consistency of your payment allows
us to continue in operation, advertising has ups and downs and would
limit our ability to fund this endeavor in the future. |
|

|
Since LifeName is
so inexpensive are you using old slow computers with slow
communications?
Absolutely not again. We are using the newest, fastest systems in a
facility with extremely fast bandwidth directly onto the backbone of
the Internet. We have done everything possible to assure 24/7
availability. We endeavor to offer superior service to our
customers, therefore increasing our customer base sufficiently to
cover costs. |
|

|
Will the price of
LifeName increase once you have users locked in on an email address
for life?
No. The future is unpredictable, and costs may increase to the point
that LifeName cannot continue to offer the service at such a low
price. That appears unlikely, but should circumstances dictate,
LifeName will still not do a sudden, significant increase in price,
it will be done by a small increment. |
| |
What are the restrictions
on use of LifeName?
 |
|

|
What countries is LifeName available in?
LifeName is available and usable worldwide. It passes messages
regardless of the email package used, or the language or character
set it is written in. Right now the site is in English only, but we
have plans in offering it in a number of languages very soon. |

|
How do I inform others of my LifeName address.
There are no shortcuts for this one. You have to send some type of
